Why it Works
To increase your ball speed, you must improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your kinetic chain.
The Kinetic Chain
The kinetic chain is crucial to speed. Think of your body as a series of connected parts, like links in a chain. If one part is weak or misaligned, it can affect the entire chain and compromise your ability to achieve maximum speed.
In the bowling action, your kinetic chain starts at your feet and travels up the body until you release the cricket ball. The kinetic chain is like teamwork within your body, with different parts working together to produce the highest possible speed.
Data Doesn’t Coach. People Do.
At SpeedCamp, we use specialist performance technology to capture precise data on how momentum is created, preserved and transferred from run-up to ball release.
Our coaches interpret that data in context to identify each athlete’s strengths, weaknesses and most important next steps.

Performance Science
We work with industry-leading technology providers to produce unique and precise metrics specific to fast bowling.
Our in-house Performance Science team consists of elite coaches, data scientists, and sports scientists who continually study and investigate the latest findings in fast bowling and speed development.
Our technology suite includes the Catapult Vector S7, research-grade ForceDecks by VALD, an Output Sports portable sensor, and the latest speed guns by Stalker Sports & Pocket Radar.
